The 2011 Fahan Alumni Reunion Weekend was held this year on October 7 and 8 and was a great success with a number of Alumni returning to the School to participate in a range of reunion activities that spanned across two memorable days.

The 2011 Reunion Events kicked off to an exciting start with the Alumni v Students Hockey and Netball matches on Friday October 7. The lunchtime bell saw the games begin with the Alumni and Student teams battling it out to a tight finish.
Inspirational Travers Morphett Lecture

Writer, producer, director and Fahan Alumna, Posie Graeme-Evans, returned to Fahan School to present the 2011 Travers Morphett Lecture, which showcases Fahan women who are experts in their field, on Monday 4 July.
Cary Lewincamp Performs at Music Assembly

At Fahan’s Music Assembly on Friday 18 March, one of Tasmania’s best known guitarists, Cary Lewincamp, performed a song from his latest CD as well as a cover of James Taylors’ “Shower the People,” with Fahan’s John Williamson.

On the 26-27 of February, Fahan marked 10 consecutive years of participation in Cancer Council Tasmania’s Relay For Life fundraiser, which celebrates survivors, remembers loved ones lost and aims to fight back against a disease that affects so many.

The Fahan School Community Committee, under the direction of Anna Forward, coordinated a Flood Relief Hamper that was raffled off during February to raise money for the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.
Honours Assembly Celebrates Achievement

Seven 2010 graduates were invited back to Fahan today to be honoured for their outstanding academic achievements during their time at Fahan. Each of these girls received an ATAR over 95, placing them in the top 5% of Australian students.
